Settling Home | Away From Home
In this project for an expat couple, settling in and integrating into Swiss life with the purchase of a new home, our task was to create their personal family voice, style, vibe and aesthetic through the home interior. Providing them with the best solutions and options to make sure every family member’s needs, preferences and comforts were being met. This strong, vibrant, goal-oriented couple with kids needed a home filled with endless light, highlighted by contour lines of brand new black accent windows, uniquely different with finer wood feature details to give a homey feel, and very easy furniture to accommodate functionality vs. aesthetics.
Making sure that the balance of comfort vs. style was met through out every space - materials reflect earthy elements in colours and textures. Humble tones and calm themes introduced into the bedroom motive allowed for a strong accent in black lacquered wood finishes for the storage furniture units in the master suite. A seashell tone motif with travertine flooring continues throughout the en-suite bathroom interior.
For their two energetic young kids, we made sure to create a very happy, personalised atmosphere that would allow them to stay creative, inject their personality into the space. As they would grow the space would stay flexible in terms of needs of a child vs. teen over time.
Timeless Contemporary | English Elegance
A new take on classic English style fused with neo-classic contemporary ethos. Our clients have a very unique point of view and specific taste when it comes to style, decor and features of this uniquely designed home, constructed in the 80ties. A modern take on what will be considered timeless design to stay for decades to come. This project is currently underway.
Tranquil Bliss | In the Heart of the City
The first home – is the creation of the first memories of a new chapter in life. Your living space changes to reflect your lifestyle, personalities and evolution. To reflect this tranquil feeling, we have created a smooth, cohesive interior using a natural earthy colour pallet as a base, adding pastel & deep vivid accent colours throughout. As an initial idea -natural materials, such as grey Thai slate, white veined marble, oak & walnut woods can suggest a touch of natural authenticity in the context of the modern villa architecture.
The design of an integrated hide-away tv/fireplace unit merging into the open/closed office space, joined with shelving had been created around the sofa unit to give dual function. The staircase became the home centrepiece with its feature wall, and smoothly merges the levels between each other.
The basement floor is a flexible area, that is inviting, with its unique features, such as an entertainment wall, bar area, a dry/ refrigerated wine cellar, and fitness area. But most importantly it respects the views and benefit from the usage of the integrated lower level patio. Lastly, the outdoor areas has ample entertaining and lounging furniture to enjoy the summer months ahead! Lastly, a touch of Japandi style is used in the details, to add a slight bohemian touch we feel the client desires.
Project fully procured with furnishing from JRK Design, Mies, Switzerland.

Mid-Century Modern | For The Bold
Having a profound love for contemporary Scandinavian design and Mid-Century Modern items, our client wanted their home to resemble the feeling of endlessly staying in a luxury hotel suite - redefined.
Defined by clean lines, organic forms, minimal ornamentation, and high functionality, the style created has an undeniably timeless appeal. Yet making sure each room in the duplex floor property has its own individual character.
Designed for living | Made for life
The Client, being the property developer, wanted their very first show home in Marina Arcade Tower, located in the prestigious Dubai Marina, to attract and appeal to their investors, by offering contemporary customizable interior design.
A unique design language was created through combining an Italian Design inspired look with feature furniture elements and finishes. The interior evokes the feeling of five-star hotel-apartment quality and comfort.
The goal was to create a "never before seen" take on today's metropolitan living by the shoreline, surpassing the expectations of potential buyers.

Majilis horse portrait commission
- saudi arabia
A refined and proud portrait of an Arabian horse centred around a black and white interior for a grand Majilis space, curated from the concept of regal horse dressing of the Arabian court. This painting uses a mix of techniques, which in result creates an illusion of hyper-realism from a far and fine detailing in its structure.
medcare women and children hospital
- jumeirah 3, dubai
ExA Arts was commissioned to procure two custom sculptures - a freestanding mother & child figure in an abstract form and a mural 3d sculpture portraying the same, in a different style, yet complementing one another. Partnering with the landscape architects we ensured the design intent was achieved through a curated process of multiple mock-up preparations of form and texture as well as a smooth procurement.
Walking through the courtyard of the maternal hospital a balanced story was achieved, encapsulating a calm and soothing experience for its patients and visitors.
bespoke arabian horse portrait
- saudi arabia
This abstract expressionist interpretation on the wild Arabian horse was commissioned as a series of multiple equestrian paintings to be installed throughout a private residential property in Saudi Arabia.
The colour scheme was derived from the interior colour scheme, and meant meticulously matching the tones of each colour gradient to the desired palette. Fine gold leaf would add to the preciousness of the piece and add a finishing touch to the contemporary take on equestrian art.
